There are many types of flanges, such as flat welding flanges, butt welding flanges, looper flanges, etc. Among them, flat welding flanges are plug-welded, and the welding height is 2-5mm from the flange sealing surface. The flange can be directly butt welded, and the bolted connection of the loop flange does not need to be welded.
3. What is the difference between flange and valve?
Flanges and valves are different. For pipelines with a design temperature of 300°C and below and a nominal pressure of less than or equal to 2.5MPa, flat welding flanges should be used: for pipes with a design temperature greater than or equal to 2.5MPa For pipes with a temperature of 300°C or a nominal pressure greater than or equal to 4.0MPa, butt welding flanges should be used.
5. Under what circumstances can screw connection be used?
When the design pressure is less than or equal to 1.6MPa and the design temperature is not more than 200℃, the threaded connection method can be used on "Welded Steel Pipes for Low-Pressure Fluid Transport" GB/T 3091.
